Last week, a federal jury ordered former President Donald Trump to pay $83.3 million in damages to accused sexual assaulter E. Jean Carroll in her defamation lawsuit against him.
The jury decided that Trump was not liable for the sexual assault charges, but was liable for sexual assault and defamation based on comments he made when he denied sexually assaulting her in the 1990s.
On Monday, Carroll told MSNBC's Rachel Maddow that she intends to go on a shopping spree with the money she got from Trump.
Carole's lawyer seemed nervous about her statements.

MSNBC's Maddow cited previous statements by Carroll indicating that any money she would receive from Trump would go directly “to help support women's rights.”
Madhu asked her. “Do you know what that might be, what that might look like?”
Carol replied: “Yes, Rachel!” Yes! I had very bright ideas of all the good I would do with this money.
Fox News reported:
“First thing Rachel, you and I are going shopping!” Then I screamed. “We're going to get whole new wardrobes, new shoes, and a motorcycle [Carroll’s attorney Shawn] Crowley, a new fishing rod for Ruby [Carroll’s attorney Roberta Kaplan]- Rachel, what do you want? Penthouse? It's for you, Rachel! Penthouse and France? You want France? Do you want to go fishing in France? no?”
While Maddow laughed at Carroll's suggestion, Crowley smiled awkwardly and said, “That's a joke.”
“Although if I fish in France I could do something for women's rights. I'll take the hit. I'll pick one for the team,” Maddow joked.
In a separate interview on Monday, Carroll said he would use the money for something Trump “hates.”

Carol: “It's now about fighting for all women.”
In that interview, Carroll said it was time to move on from herself and her case and focus on fighting Trump on policy and more.
“It's now about fighting for all women,” she said. “We also fight, and we salute the women and men who have been assaulted and who haven't survived. We're doing this for women across the country, who have been taken down time and time again. So it's not about me anymore.”
“We went beyond my limits,” Carroll said.
“And as you say, the battle now is actually to reclaim our future,” she added. “This is the man who packed the Supreme Court, taking away women's rights to their bodies.”
“We would like to be a part of turning our eyes to the future and reclaiming our rights,” Carroll concluded.
