Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson blasted Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and John Cornyn (R-TX), calling them “fucking lunatics,” after the senators took to social media to encourage acts of war against… Iran.

The attack led to the death of three American soldiers and the injury of at least 30 others.
Officials claim the drone was launched by Iranian-backed militants and appeared to be coming from Syria. This comes in the wake of a series of attacks launched by Iranian-backed armed groups on cargo ships in the Red Sea.
Both Graham and Coren feel that escalation by the US military is in order, but Carlson politely disagrees.

Graham says we need to hit Iran hard
Graham responded with the knee-jerk reaction to the attack that we have come to expect, calling for actions that would drag the United States into another war.
He wrote on X: “Strike Iran now.” Hit them hard.”
As has been covered in these pages, Senator Graham could not find a situation in which it did not appear that he would immediately declare war.
Whether it is Iran – which he called for attacking several times before this incident – or his call for the assassination of Russian President Vladimir Putin, or expressing his support for the bombing of drug cartels in Mexico, or his enthusiastic support for the Iraq War – he is a warmonger by definition.
Cornyn also jumped into the fray, calling on the Biden administration to “target Tehran.”

Carlson has been a critic of the war hawks
In a previous episode of his show on X, Carlson strongly criticized Graham's encouragement of war with Iran.
What exactly would happen to the United States if we declared war on Iran and started bombing its infrastructure? “Lindsey Graham has no idea what’s going to happen,” Carlson said.
“He hasn't thought about it. He's almost 70 years old, and he has no children. He doesn't care,” he continued. “But surprisingly, most of his colleagues in Washington don't. They're as reckless as he is.”

In a previous episode of his show on Channel 𝕏, Tucker criticized Graham's calls to bomb Iran. He did not change his point of view.

Graham recently dismissed concerns about civilian deaths in Palestine, bolstering his credentials as a reckless legislator who would gladly lead the United States into another endless war in the Middle East.
“Tell us how to do it differently,” he said in defense of the Israeli attacks on Gaza. “Why did so many people die in World War II after Pearl Harbor?”
President Joe Biden confirmed the recent attack on a base in northeastern Jordan carried out by Iranian-backed militias in Syria and Iraq.
He vowed to hold those responsible accountable, saying: “We will respond.”
In a separate statement, Biden said that the United States “will hold all those responsible accountable at a time and in the manner we choose.”
There is no doubt that Graham and Cornyn will support the new war effort.
