North Texas – what a day. once again. This was the warmest day in January we have ever had. After a series of below normal highs and heavy rain, what a nice change of pace.

What's better than an April-like day in January? A couple more of them!

Start adjusting your weekend plans. The next rain looks to arrive Friday afternoon and will only increase in intensity and coverage overnight into Saturday.

It will be cold on Sunday and also windy. Most of the heavy precipitation will be in the east but some swirling showers are possible with strong northerly winds.

But that's not even the end of the week. Let's all enjoy these spring and winter days until then!
