Marilyn Manson has been ordered to pay Evan Rachel Wood $326,956 to cover legal fees the actress accrued while defending against defamation and emotional distress claims that were previously removed from Manson's lawsuit still pending against her. According to Rolling Stone, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Teresa A. I backed out a little over $60,000 from the original order because some of the descriptions for the hours billed were too “vague.”
Manson filed the defamation suit in March last year, alleging that Wood and her friend Elma Gore had decided to “publicly label him a rapist and abuser.” Although the case was mostly dismissed, Wood and Gore still face allegations that they conspired to hack into Warner's computer, impersonate him online, and subpoena police to his home.
