Radical liberal comedian Kathy Griffin has taken to publicly pleading with fans to attend her comedy shows after admitting tickets “aren't selling well”.
Griffin asks fans to buy tickets
Griffin, who infamously posed with the severed head of then US President Donald Trump in a 2017 photo shoot, recently took to social media to post a video in which she begged people to buy tickets to her shows.
“I'll be honest with you guys. I had another voice surgery two days ago, so I think my voice sounds better. However, I have coronavirus and I'm sad that I'm getting fired,” Griffin began. “It's all about the tour, man. Oddly enough, he got me to opening night in Des Moines. And Omaha is not selling well. First of all, there are not enough people there.
“I need comedy fans to come see me in Kansas City,” she continued. “Come on! I need sales. I've been through hell. I've been through a lot of bullshit since my last tour. I actually have to laugh about it. I'd like to laugh. So please…”
Newsweek reported that Griffin's tour is scheduled to begin in Des Moines on Friday evening. It will then make stops in Canada and in several US states including Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Missouri and Texas before ending the tour in California.
“For God's sake, come see me on tour. I'm coming to 40 cities,” Griffin stated in her video. “It's going to be a panacea. It will be the thing that gets me through. You guys got through me, you always have.

Griffin to bash Trump
Griffin went on to say that she would incorporate Trump's recent courtroom battle with E. Jane Carroll into her work.
“We have a lot to discuss. I mean, my God, a lot,” she said. “Actually, I don’t mention Trump on my new show, but he took a stand in the E. Jean Carroll case, and you know he started yelling at the defendant’s table. So I mean that's something. This will take at least three minutes to eat. But now I have a lot of things to talk about, I promise.
“But I need you,” she added. “You said you wanted me to come to the real America. Well, look at the cities on that tour. Go to any of my social media. You can find there a poster of me coming out of a dumpster fire. Oh, I wonder what that is for.”

Griffin becomes more desperate
Griffin became more desperate as her video continued, even bringing her gender into the situation.
“And by the way, buy tickets,” she confirmed. “If you know me, don't call me for comp. These male promoters are looking to see how I'm selling and if I'm going to sell. It's all about that, and when you're a comedian, you're never going to sell like the boys, no matter what your accomplishments are, blah, blah, Blah.
“But come and see me, for God’s sake,” Griffin continued. “I've done more comedy specials than any comedian, male or female, alive or dead. That is! Don't talk to me about the other guys. You broke the record and everyone knows it.”
Griffin ended her video by reminiscing about the late comedian Joan Rivers, saying, “She used to say that when your heart is broken, you're the funniest. So I must be a riot!”

Griffin spent the years following the infamous Trump photo scandal shamelessly trying to play the victim even though she was the one who took a shine to assassinating a sitting president. In the end, we can see why she has so much trouble selling tickets to her comedy shows, because there's nothing really funny about it!
