MSNBC anchor Joy Reid dropped the f-bomb on Monday. The host said it over a hot mic that you probably thought wasn't hot.
While this in itself is not newsworthy, the reason for the expletive could show that fissures are occurring on the left between reasonable people and the trigger-happy president, Joe Biden.

“Another fucking war”
In her presentation Redoutthe host was complaining about Republican opposition to President Joe Biden's immigration “deal” that would include billions of dollars for foreign countries.
Clearly, that's not all Reid had in mind.
“Case in point — fixing what they say is a crisis at the border as congressional negotiators continue to work on a bipartisan agreement to tie changes in border policy to funding for Ukraine,” the host said, also saying these were talks Donald Trump was trying to sabotage.
“Over the weekend, President Biden said he was ready to take action if Congress was serious about solving the border issue.”
Reed's program aired clips of Biden's speech on Saturday in Columbia, South Carolina.
But during the video excerpts, Reed spoke up, seemingly unaware that her microphone was still on:
BIDEN: If this bill were the law today, I would close the border now and fix it quickly…and Congress needs to get it done.
Reed: Starting another war.
When she returned on the air, she first addressed Biden's comments and the debate over immigration.
“I'm still trying to kill the deal,” Reid said, referring to Trump. “He bragged about obstructing progress and said: 'Please, please, blame him if he fails.'
But in the end, after realizing what she thought she said on air, she addressed her remarks and apologized to viewers.
“Before we go, I just want to apologize real quick,” Reed said. “I was chatting while a segment was playing, and as you know, we try to keep this show completely PG-13, so I just want to apologize to anyone who was listening to my 'backstage' chatter. I sincerely apologize for that.”
It is possible that her comments about “another damned war” were in reference to growing tensions in the Middle East, especially regarding Israel and Gaza. In a related context, three American soldiers were killed in Jordan on Sunday by what the Pentagon described as Iranian agents.
Biden promised to take retaliatory measures.

To be honest, for a change
MSNBC has a habit of not criticizing this Democratic president.
Unless they accidentally do it when they think they've stopped streaming.
Looks like Joy Reid was having a moment of honesty.
Then he apologized for it.
It's time to support and share the sources you trust.
