Jill attacks Trump
The Daily Mail reported that while speaking at a fundraiser in Houston on Saturday evening, Jill responded to Trump's public opposition to the border settlement being worked on in the Senate.
“You see what happened today with the border, and now Trump is trying to do everything he can to make Joe look bad, you know, even in lives – sacrificing so many people's lives just for his own political gain,” she said. .
“I know it's too early to start, but I want you to think after you leave tonight that I am committed to democracy. And yes, I will fight as hard as I can and will never let anything like 2016 happen again.”
This appearance was part of a three-day fundraising tour that Jill embarked on across South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida and Texas. She has become more aggressive in campaigning for her husband, joining him in attacking conservatives and claiming that “MAGA Republicans” pose a threat to democracy.

During her appearance in Houston, Jill claimed that extremist Republicans want to “rip apart the fabric of our country.”
“I can't believe mainstream Republicans really want what the MAGA extremists want, too,” she said.
Jill ended her speech by mentioning the recent column written by author and historian Heather Cox Richardson about Martin Luther King Jr., in which she claimed that America no longer has heroes. After asking donors to think about their heroes, Gill recited a quote from King when he said he would choose to live in the present over any other time in history.
He said: I know this country is in trouble. I know this nation is sick… Only through the darkness can you see the stars.
“I think we're kind of wading into this darkness, of all the things that are going on with the division in our country,” she concluded. “I think we'll look forward in November. We'll see those stars. We'll know who our heroes are.”

Earlier this month, Jill tried to brag about Joe's “energy” and “energy” when asked about growing concerns about his health.
“He can do it,” Jill said in response, according to the Daily Mail. “I see Joe every day. I see him out there, you know, traveling all over this country. I see his strength. I see his energy. I see his passion every day.”
In this same interview, Jill complained about Republicans going after her stepson, Hunter Biden.
“I think what they are doing to Hunter is cruel,” she said. “And I’m really proud of the way Hunter rebuilt his life after addiction.”
“You know, I love my son and this happened, it hurt my grandchildren,” she added. “And that's what worries me the most, is that it affects their lives as well.”

Jill can attack Trump and Republicans all she wants, but that won't change the fact that her husband is less popular than ever. Jill might want to start packing her bags now, because it looks like she'll be moving out of the White House at the end of this year!
