This weekend on ABC News, California Governor Gavin Newsom made a ridiculous case for Biden's re-election and even tried to claim that Biden has a plan to deal with the crisis at the border.
During the same interview, he was asked about third-party candidates, and he said Democrats should be worried about them.
To his credit, unlike many other Democrats, Newsom has said he does not support efforts to keep them off the ballot. Some polls showed that Trump performed better in the election with third-party candidates included.

John Carle: How concerned are you about having a third party? There will be many third party candidates. So, it doesn't take much. I know that a third-party candidate is unlikely to be elected president, or to defeat either. But I mean, how worried are you?
Newsom: Spoilers.
Carl: Yes, how worried are you about that?
NEWSOM: I should be, I'm worried. But did you know? You have to master the controls. You have to control what you have to control. For now, the vote is taken out.
Carl: Do you think it's wrong then for Democrats to try to keep these third-party candidates, the “No Stickers” and others off the ballot? We see effort –
NEWSOM: And–
Carl: โ to โ
NEWSOM: Yeah, I think that when you try to – again, suppress choice and voice, it tends to backfire.
Carl: Especially when you talk about the importance of democracy, you're trying to keep people away from the ballot box.
NEWSOM: Yes. So, I'm not consumed by that. And I'm not here on behalf of the Biden administration that is thinking about that.

Ladies the view They are also concerned about third-party candidates.
After literally begging Liz Cheney to turn on a third party to hurt Trump, The View is (again) concerned about the damage the third party could do. Of course, they are concerned about Biden's re-election chances.
