A top aide to former President Donald Trump has strongly denied recent speculation that environmental lawyer Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is being considered as a potential vice presidential nominee.
Chris Lacivita, a senior adviser to Donald Trump's 2024 presidential campaign, took a strong stance against the rumours, categorically ruling out any possibility of such an alliance.
The news comes after a report from the New York Post indicating that members of Trump's inner circle were exploring the possibility of partnering with RFK Jr.
However, LaCivita's latest statement has put these rumors to rest. In a post he published on Saturday, he expressed his categorical position on this issue.
“This is 100% fake news – no one from the Trump campaign has ever called RFK jr (or ever will) – one of the most liberal and extreme environmentalists in the country. For all the fake news – update your stories,” LaCivita wrote on X.

According to a report by The Post, “Trump operatives expressed interest in Kennedy early on, but it was all premature,” said one person familiar with the matter, adding that it was “completely outside the box when Bobby announced” in April 2023. He was running for president. “Anything is possible. Under no circumstances would I write her off,” the insider continued.
Recent polls published on Real Clear Politics confirm that the Trump-Robert Kennedy, Jr. ticket will win with more than 60% of the vote. Joe Biden will be in second place by a large margin and will suffer the historic loss he deserves.
Today, America stands at a crossroads. There is only one man who can return us to our foundations, to law and order, to a rational foreign policy, to a prosperous country that respects its borders.
As The Gateway Pundit reported last week, If President Trump needs to take on Robert Kennedy Jr. to ensure a unified victory in November, he should not hesitate to do so.
