Winter weather continues in the northeast
Snow will continue to fall in parts of the Northeast on Monday after much of the region saw snow and cold rain over the weekend.
Winter weather advisories are in effect through Monday morning before the system moves in during the afternoon.
The Pineapple Express headed to California
The West Coast will once again be hit by another atmospheric river, but this time, it will have a tropical connection.
a Pineapple Express Will head to California This week some coastal ranges could see up to 8 inches of rain. Los Angeles and San Diego could be hit by more flooding, with forecasters already identifying those cities as having an increased risk of heavy rainfall.
Record future warmth
Records could be broken in the last few days of January as warm air heads toward the western and central United States
The Fox Forecast Center said that high temperatures could break during the middle of the week in states such as Washington, Oregon and parts of California.
San Jose, Calif., was one of several cities that set or tied a daily record on Sunday when the temperature reached 72 degrees — just 6 miles from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, where the 49ers defeated the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship game. .
