The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has struggled in recent years to generate enough excitement around the once-beloved Oscars ceremony. Viewership has steadily declined, with total viewers reaching an all-time low in two decades in 2021.
And with the average American not interested in watching Hollywood elites in expensive costumes talk about social justice issues while accepting an award for often overrated arthouse films, perhaps this year will be different, thanks to the latest Barbie drama. The doll-inspired film, which received a slew of nominations, is now making headlines due to fake feminist outrage over its disdain for certain groups.
The director and the main actress did not receive nominations in the categories of Best Director and Best Actress, but the main actor received nominations. an act Receive a nomination for Best Supporting Actor. The left is suffering a Chernobyl-level meltdown, which points to the film's perceived irony of real life.
Ken was nominated for an Oscar, Barbie was not, which means sexism and patriarchy are real. We should all start burning our bras in feminine solidarity, as soon as we discover what a woman is.
Loss knows no gender
Director Greta Gerwig and actress Margot Robbie were not nominated in the director or actress categories for their roles in Barbie. However, Ryan Gosling did receive a nomination in the Best Supporting Actor category for his role as Kane in the pink pop film that tickled the funny bones and pricked the hearts of millions who want to be feminists.
Naturally, this meant to the silly masses that patriarchy was real and that women had failed to achieve any measure of equality over time. The prolific loser and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton commented writing on social media:
“Greta and Margot, even though it may hurt to win at the box office but not take home the gold, millions of your fans love you. You are so much more than Kenov. #HillaryBarbie”
As usual, the failed presidential candidate offers a masterclass in toxic femininity by hijacking an event that has absolutely nothing to do with her and claiming it for herself. It is important to note that although Ms. Gerwig and Ms. Roby were not nominated in the Director and Actress categories, they did receive nominations in the Producer and Adapted Screenplay categories.
Their talents He was a favour. The movie “Barbie” received eight nominations, including America Ferrera, who was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress category. But the angry feminist movement is not satisfied, and demands that the two chosen heroines receive the required appreciation regardless of talent or merit in the name of bringing down the man and raising the woman on the pedestal that we rightfully deserve.
And yet…this same group remains strangely silent when women are beaten by men.

Sports are for boys
The hypocrisy displayed by liberal feminists was brilliantly described by Megyn Kelly, who wrote in response to a request from actor Matthew Marsden to publicize liberal hypocrisy:
“Absolutely crazy feminists Margot Robbie was 'cheated' out of her Oscar by Barbie by The Man, but they couldn't care less that @Riley_Gaines_ was cheated out of her NCAA medal by The Man Lia Thomas.”
Where was the outrage when Riley Gaines was robbed of her NCAA medal for a man? Instead, the same group that mourns Greta and Margot has nothing but hatred and vitriol for Riley.
Where were and still are these powerful feminist voices when the Biden administration pushed through updated Title IX regulations to expand the meaning of sex discrimination to include gender identity? This rule essentially erases the hard work that has been done to secure and protect women in sports, which was the original point of Title IX.
Why is there a difference in anger? Why is it unacceptable for a man to be nominated in an all-male category for his role in a movie, but acceptable for a man to win an award in a women's sport?
It seems horribly selective, as is the case with all previous liberal movements. It's okay to fight for women's rights and fairness — unless it's about sports where biological sex actually matters.

Ken speaks the truth
There are calls for Ryan Gosling to abandon his nomination for the role of Kane in protest against the alleged sexism shown by the Academy. Like most women of my generation, I admire Ryan, and I'm glad he chose not to abandon his candidacy; After all, he deserved it, and he wasn't competing in the same categories as Greta and Margot.
If anything, there should have been calls, after all, for female colleagues and directors to reject their nominations because, in theory, based on the arguments made by angry feminists, they were the ones to take Greta and Margot's place. All this nonsense aside, in Mr. Gosling's response to Oscar's snub, he single-handedly explained the truth about biological sex:
Deep words from the dreamy Gosling. In fact, there is no Ken without Barbie, Adam without Eve, and man without woman.
However, progressive doll masters want to unravel what Barbie stands for. Women are important, and women are different from men.

Men are important, and men are different from women. Ryan Gosling's nomination is not proof that the patriarchy is still in power, crushing women's dreams and contributions.
His nomination proves that the Academy believes that out of all of last year's supporting male actors, his performance as Kane deserves a nomination. However, allowing biological men like Leah Thomas and transgender biological golfer Hailey Davidson to compete against biological women He is Crushing women's dreams and contributions.
SPOILER ALERT: It's not the patriarchy that's the bad guy this round, ladies, it's all of you so-called feminist puppets on the left.
