Tensions within the Oklahoma Republican Party reached a boiling point after the state party's leadership passed a resolution Saturday to condemn U.S. Sen. James Lankford for his involvement in an outrageous border security deal with Democrats.
The resolution, which was adopted with immediate effect, states that the party will withhold all support for Senator Lankford until he ceases his participation in the proposed legislation.
The resolution points to several concerns, most notably Senator Lankford's cooperation with Democratic Senator Charles Schumer on a deal that allegedly allows 5,000 illegal immigrants per day to enter and work in the United States. This number translates to approximately 155,000 illegal immigrants each month, amounting to an annual total of 1.8 million.
According to information obtained by Fox News correspondent Bill Melogen, the deal includes:
– Mandatory detention for all adults.
– Mandatory “closure” of the border once average daily migrant encounters reach 5,000. Importantly, this 5,000 figure includes 1,400 CBP One app entries at ports of entry daily, and approximately 3,600 illegal crossings daily.
– How is this implemented? Once the threshold of 5,000 is reached, a new authority is codified into law that requires Border Patrol to immediately remove illegal immigrants they apprehend without processing. They will not be able to seek asylum, and will be deported immediately. This includes deportations to Mexico and deportations to their countries of origin. This would be a *huge* change from the current policy, which is that once an illegal immigrant arrives on US soil, they must be processed through Title 8 and allowed to seek asylum. Under this new authority – they are not processed, and are compulsorily removed immediately once the “closure” threshold is reached.
– This “lockdown” also applies if there are 8,500 migrant encounters in one day.
– The “lockdown” will not be lifted the next day. It will not be lifted until daily encounters are reduced to below 75% of the 5,000 threshold for at least two weeks. This means that the “lockdown” authority will not be lifted until after two weeks with an average of less than 3,750 migrant encounters per day.
— Some family units will be released with ATD (Alternatives to Detention, Ankle Monitors, etc.).
– New removal power to immediately remove all migrants who do not have valid asylum claims, which will be determined within 6 months rather than the long process we have now.
Any immigrant caught trying to cross twice during the “lockdown” phase will be banned from entering the United States for one year.
-The US would need an agreement with Mexico for MX to take back non-Mexican illegal immigrants. It has not been settled yet.
BREAKING: Details of the Senate border deal, according to an informed source I just contacted.

According to Melogen, “President Biden agrees to the deal and is ready to sign it as it is now and implement the new authority it will give him.”
The Republican OK Party emphasizes support for “limited legal immigration” and opposes any “path to citizenship” that would favor illegal aliens over those who pursued immigration through legal channels.
The resolution accuses Senator Lankford of undermining the rule of law and the safety of American citizens by negotiating a deal that could lead to an “invasion” of the border, referring to Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution that tasks the United States with the mission of “invading” the border. Protecting countries from invasion.

Earlier this month, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) expressed strong opposition to the Senate amnesty bill on his social media account, calling it a “nightmare.”
He criticized the bill for granting legal status to illegal aliens who took advantage of the system and violated the law.
“The Senate amnesty bill is a nightmare. It gives legal status to illegal aliens who have gamed our system and violated our laws. It rolls out the red carpet for 5,000 illegal immigrants every day Forever. It's hard enough to stop the state-sponsored far-left invasion of our southern border, and it gets even harder when you pull Senator Langford's daggers from your back. “I oppose the amnesty deal in the Senate and will work to see it defeated,” Gaetz wrote.
Likewise, Rep. Dan Bishop (R-N.C.) expressed disbelief and concern on social media.
“How can this be imagined?! 5,000 per day is 150,000/month. The unprecedented threshold was breached in January 2021 after a post-election surge. Lankford proposes institutionalizing the flow at a crisis level? As a 'border security' proposal?”
Jackson LaMere, founder of Pastors4Trump, has launched a petition aiming to recall Senator Lankford. The move reflects growing dissatisfaction among certain groups with Lankford's stance and actions regarding proposed immigration reforms.
