BRADDOCK, Pa. — Over the past several months, Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) has shown shocking glimpses of common sense, endearing himself to conservatives and angering his left-wing supporters.
For example, Fetterman criticized the border invasion being encouraged by the Biden regime and supported border talks with Republicans to help resolve the crisis. He has said the situation is so dire that the American dream itself is threatened by record illegal immigration.
He also opposed the Democratic leadership and called on indicted New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez to resign from the Senate.
But his most important defection from the left was regarding the war between Israel and Hamas. Fetterman is considered a staunch supporter of Israel's right to defend itself. He even refused to support the “two-state” solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict favored by his fellow Democrats.
Fetterman's independent line toward Israel was on display again Friday night. Pro-Hamas agitators showed up at his home in Braddock, Pennsylvania, waving Palestinian flags and chanting, “Fetterman, Fetterman, you can't hide! You support genocide!”
But instead of ignoring the losers or trying to appease them, Fetterman climbed onto his roof and spent the night stroking them with the Israeli flag.
The person who filmed the epic response is a Hamas supporter marxist, He described it as “an incredible sight to see”.

This was not the first time that Fetterman mocked pro-Hamas demonstrators. In November, Fetterman waved the Israeli flag in their faces outside the Senate.
Not many Democrats would dare be so bold in confronting the radical left. This goes double for Joe Biden, who earlier this month allowed his doors to be shut down by pro-Hamas protesters and later tried to appease them.
Fetterman still does not deserve complete trust because he remains quite liberal on most issues. But he exceeded conservatives' meager expectations of him.
