Today: More fog is expected this morning, with clouds remaining after clearing, turning Saturday into grey. We may also see some light rain in the southeastern counties during the day. Rain chances are best near I-44, and diminish significantly toward Columbia. However, expect some light rain on and off during the day in Columbia and Jefferson City. Expect highs in the upper 30s, near 40.

Tonight: The rain will taper off this evening, but we'll keep the clouds around overnight. Some rain may be possible early Sunday, but the precipitation will largely end tonight.

EXTENDED: Cloudy and cool Sunday, with highs again expected to reach near 40. High pressure settles in Sunday night, keeping us cool Monday morning, but as it moves away, southerly winds and returning sunshine will push temperatures into the low 50s. This comes before a cold front on Tuesday, which takes us back into the 40s on Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures remain above average, rising again late in the week, back into the 50s on Thursday, and likely continuing through the weekend. Temperatures in the 60s are starting to look unbearable, but dry weather and sunshine will stick around through the rest of the week, until rain chances return, as soon as next weekend.
