COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) – After a quieter day at the end of the school week, all attention now turns to tomorrow's storm system. We are once again aware of the weather as the cold front brings the potential for multiple hazards tomorrow.
This line of storms will begin moving into Alabama counties by 10 a.m. EST/11 a.m. ET. This is where we will likely see the greatest threat of severe weather before the line weakens. This system will continue to move east, exiting our eastern counties by 5 PM ET.
Flooding will be a threat again on Saturday, with some areas likely to see another inch of rain. However, short tornadoes and damaging winds cannot be ruled out.
Behind this cold front, we will see one last day of cloudy weather on Sunday before the skies clear at the beginning of next week. Temperatures will also begin to drop to near average, dropping into the mid 50s Sunday afternoon.
