“Here's the deal: Everybody doesn't win,” Goldberg said on Wednesday's episode of “The View.”“. “They're not disrespectful. That's kind of what I want to point out.”
Goldberg knows a thing or two about the Academy Awards, having won for her role in the 1990 classic, The Messenger reported. ghost. She's also one of the few people who can call themselves an EGOT, having won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award.
Barbie It was nominated for Best Picture and stars Ryan Gosling and America Ferrera were nominated for Best Supporting Actor and Actress, yet the world was shocked that Gerwig and Robbie were not recognized for their work. Gosling subsequently issued a statement saying he was “disappointed” they were not nominated, adding that “there is no Barbie movie without Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie, the two people most responsible for this history-making and globally celebrated film.”
Alyssa Farrah Griffin, co-host of The View, who previously worked in Donald Trump's administration, praised Gosling for speaking out.
“Barbie She continued: “I made more than a billion dollars.” “Hey, studios, maybe hire more female directors if you want to make blockbuster movies. We're half the population, we're out, we want to see this. Also, have they missed the whole moral of the story?” Barbie? Of course we are only celebrating Beijing, not the woman who plays its starring and iconic role.

Goldberg doubles over
“The message of all of this is not lost on me, but one question I have — and Whoopi is probably the only one who can answer this — when does it become pejorative?” asked co-host Sarah Haines. “I know the movie, I know the greatness and the money, but that assumes there's no one else there.”
That's when Goldberg attacked the Clintons of the world who complain about it Barbie “He ignores”.
“It's not the elites, it's the entire Academy family that votes for best picture nominations,” Goldberg said. “We all vote for best picture, everyone. You don't get everything you want to get.”
“No disrespect. That's what you have to keep in mind: not everyone gets an award, and that's subjective. Movies are subjective,” Goldberg concluded. “The movies you like may not be liked by the people who vote.”

'#Hillary Barbie'
This came after Clinton issued a truly ridiculous statement aimed at placating Gerwig and Ruby over their snub.
“Even though it may hurt to win at the box office but fall short of the gold, your millions of fans love you,” Clinton began with “Greta & Margot.”
“You two are so much more than Kenov,” she continued, borrowing a phrase from the film. She concluded her post by adding the nauseating hashtag “#HillaryBarbie.”
The meltdown Clinton and other liberal elites experienced over Gerwig and Robbie's Oscar snub shows once again how out of touch they are with reality. It's not often that we agree with Goldberg, but this time, she was right!
