However, Lake responded in her statement, saying, “No one from the Lake campaign threatened or blackmailed Carrie DeWitt.”
“It is unfortunate that DeWit did not realize how unethical his behavior was and has yet to apologize to Arizona Republicans,” Lake added, noting that DeWit’s latest audio recording also “speaks for itself.”
