The Staves have released a new song called “I Don't Say It, But I Feel It,” the latest preview of their upcoming album. All now. It follows the previously shared “You Hold It All” and the title track. Take a listen below.

“This was the first song we recorded for the album and we had just written it, so there is a freshness and immediacy to us,” Staves shared in a statement. “The song is about fleeting waves of feelings and memories that often go unspoken or expressed. It's an exploration of the stillness on the outside but with the flurry of things happening beneath the surface and how, often times, we don't allow what we're really feeling to come in.” Most of the time or how much we feel it. Even the question “How are you?” can be difficult to find an answer to… The song came from a train trip to Brighton with friends and the landscape passing by – fleeting flashes as things go in and out of focus. The song is about this squeak-like two-chord pattern that moves through it, capturing jolts of emotion or memory that rush by quickly.

All now It is scheduled for release on March 22 via Communion Records.
