Obama was never crazy about Biden and wasn't even happy with Joe's decision to run for president in 2020. Now he's looking at the momentum Trump is already building, compared to Joe Biden's weak campaign.
The problem Democrats face here is Joe Biden's ego. He thinks he's doing a great job. He wants to run.

Earlier this month, we learned that Barack Obama advised Joe Biden on how to boost his reelection campaign. Now, it appears that all hope has been lost in Biden's faltering campaign.
The former president and other Biden allies have advised him to “drop out of the 2024 race to save America and the Democratic Party,” according to a report by RadarOnline.
“Insiders reported that tensions between the two presidents recently exploded after an irate Obama rushed into a secret meeting and confronted Biden about his dwindling chances of fending off rising Republican nominee Donald Trump in the upcoming November election,” the report explains.
Surprisingly, Joe seems almost oblivious to the lack of excitement about his campaign and his low approval ratings. Recent polls show that 38% of Americans approve of his performance, while 58% have an unfavorable opinion of his work…
In desperation, sources said, Obama shouted at the bumbling Biden to go on the offensive — and to ensure that his trusted aides were constantly at his side during the campaign to prevent them from making the disastrous gaffes that have characterized his presidency.
There are also reports that Obama is quietly making decisions about who controls the Biden campaign.
