Pillow Queens have announced their third album: Name your sadness Arrives April 19 via Royal Mountain. Follow up until 2022 Leave the light on It will feature the early single “Suffer” as well as new song “Gone”. Check it out and find the album cover and tracklist below.

According to the band, “Gone” is a song that looks at the trivial nature of brief, over-the-top romantic encounters that can become so monotonous, it leaves you exhausted. Lead singer, bassist and bassist Pamela Connolly added: “Lines like 'I was in the top five things you should do' convey a lack of self-esteem that is addressed throughout the album. It's a song that shows a vulnerability that doesn't allow for any positive aspects. It's real.” What someone feels at this moment.

The new record was produced by Collin Pastore (Lucy Dacus, boygenius) at Analogue Catalog in Northern Ireland. “It's about the stages of love, loss and grief and how they can all exist side by side – intertwined and messy and beautiful – and how both love and loss can coexist,” singer Cathy McGuinness explained.
