Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly eviscerated Joy Reid after the MSNBC host criticized the Moms For Liberty co-founder for calling for a book containing graphic sexual images to be banned from schools.
Kelly “Idiot” Ribbs Reed
Kelly called Reade an “idiot” for the way she treated Moms For Liberty co-founder Tiffany Justice on Friday, the Daily Mail reported.
“I don't want to know about Joy Reid's kinky sexuality or what she thinks is acceptable content for minors, but it's not what I think it is,” Kelly said. “And if she wants to expose her child to these things, she can go ahead and do it at her own time and at her own expense.”
Kelly did not stop there, but attacked Reade for asking the judge for her “expertise” in questioning the memoir “All Boys Aren’t Blue,” which has been banned by 29 school districts across the country. This “Memoir Manifesto,” written by George M. Johnson, a section about the sexual abuse he suffered as a child. It also includes graphic images of sex involving lubrication, dildos, and anal penetration.
“What experience do you and other libertarians have to decide that an award-winning book…is not appropriate for students to read,” Reed asked Justice, who responded, “In what context is a strap-on dildo acceptable for public school I mean, that's my question to you.
Reed, of course, refused to answer this question.

Kelly doubles down
But Kelly was having none of it.
“What is your experience to show that a book about attached dildos, pedophilia, or anal rape by a family member does not belong in K-12 libraries and schools?” Kelly asked.
Kelly then pointed out that there are plenty of studies showing why books like this one are harmful to children.
“There are tons and tons of academic expert articles and books about the harm done to children by being exposed to content like this too early,” she said. “And most good parents are very vigilant about making sure our kids don't get this kind of thing.”
“We put a ban on their phones if they have phones…all the things and the last thing you want to think about is when you send them to school, that's when they're most at risk,” Kelly added. “This is the time when they are most exposed to stories about anal rape and dildos.”

“It's ridiculous to pretend it's a ban.”
Kelly concluded by saying that books like “All Boys Aren't Blue” should not be put in schools “on taxpayer money when my child is sitting right next to her daughter and reading a beautiful book about love, about bullies, about history. It's ridiculous to pretend it's a ban, because it's not.” You can get it at your school library!

It's easy to see why many Americans see Reid as one of the most partisan figures on television right now. It is also disturbing to see how far leftists like Reid want children to be exposed to sexually explicit books in their schools.
We applaud Kelly for having the courage to call out Reed, and we think her criticism was misplaced. What do you think about what she said? Let us know in the comments section.
