Hunter Biden art gallery owner George Burgess sat down earlier this month for an interview with Republican lawmakers and his transcribed interview was released Monday.
What we already know about Hunter's latest money laundering scam disguised as art sales:
Democratic donors — including Hunter Biden's attorney Kevin Morris — have purchased Hunter Biden's trash artwork.
Another pay-to-play scheme for Biden was unveiled over the summer.
Over the summer, a major Democratic donor and Biden-appointed commissioner was exposed as the buyer of Hunter Biden's pile of trash he calls “art.”
Hunter's artwork (image below) ranges from $75,000 for works on paper to $500,000+ for large-scale paintings.
In July, Business Insider reported that Hunter Biden learned the identity of at least two of his buyers — and one of the buyers got a favor from the Biden White House!
One of the buyers, identified as Los Angeles real estate investor and major Democratic donor Elizabeth Hirsch Naftali, has been named to a prestigious committee by Joe Biden.
According to Insider, in July 2022, 8 months after Hunter Biden's artworks debuted at a Soho gallery, Joe Biden appointed Naftali to the Commission for the Preservation of American Heritage Abroad.
In addition, Naftali visited the Biden White House more than a dozen times and met with senior advisors.
Hunter Biden's attorney, Kevin Morris, who has already paid Hunter's back taxes, purchased 11 Hunter artworks for $875,000.
Now this…
On Monday, the Republican-led House Oversight Committee released the transcribed interview with George Burgess, owner of Hunter Biden's art gallery.
The Biden White House lied about a so-called ethics agreement in place to make sure Hunter's art wouldn't be used in another influence-peddling scheme.
George Burgess revealed the following, according to the text:
- Hunter Biden wanted to know the identities of his art buyers.
- The White House's “ethics” agreement regarding Hunter Biden's art was a sham. Burgess said he was surprised by claims from the Biden White House that there was an ethics agreement in place.
- Big-money Democratic donors bought the majority of Hunter Biden's artwork — and Hunter Biden knew their identities.
- George Burgess revealed that Kevin Morris purchased most of Hunter Biden's artwork for $875,000 in January 2023. However, Kevin Morris paid Mr. Burgess only 40 percent of the $875,000 purchase value, and Hunter Biden and Kevin Morris discovered the financial implications. Mr. Burgess admitted that he had never done an artistic deal like this before.
- In 2020, Elizabeth Hirsch Naftali did not purchase Hunter Biden's artwork despite the efforts of George Burgess. Within two months of Joe Biden becoming president, in February 2021, Ms. Naftali purchased her first Hunter Biden piece of art for $42,000. Then in July 2022, President Biden announced Ms. Naftali’s appointment to the Commission on the Preservation of American Heritage Abroad — the same commission to which Biden family colleague Eric Schwerin was appointed during the Obama-Biden administration. In December 2022, Hirsch Naftali purchased more Hunter Biden artwork for $52,000.
- George Burgess confirmed that the name Hunter Biden had an influence on determining the price of his art.
- George Burgess stated that he spoke on the phone and met in person with Joe Biden, and even attended the wedding hosted by Biden at the White House.
“Hunter Biden’s amateur art career has been an ethical nightmare, and the White House needs to explain why they are misleading the American people.” House Republicans said Monday.
