Surveillance camera footage showed the moment a car collided with a cafe in the Italian city of Turin.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. local time, while customers were enjoying breakfast inside the local café.
Seven people were taken to hospital with minor injuries, but no injuries were reported.
Local media reported that the car's speedometer at the time of the accident was stuck at a speed of 115 kilometers per hour (about 71 miles per hour).
“It could have been a real massacre, at least 10 people could have been killed,” Simona Carrastro, the cafe owner's daughter, told the BBC.
He added: “Now we only hope that we can reopen the café as soon as possible, taking into account the serious financial damage.”
Police are still investigating the circumstances of the accident.
