    An affordable housing waiting list is opening for current and future units in the upscale Koreatown building

    The waiting list is open for the Koreatown Affordable Housing Lottery for a small number of units.

    According to NYC Housing Connect, the waiting list for 42 West 33rd St. Open to three studio apartments, priced between $881-923 per month, and a one-bedroom unit, priced between $931-991 per month. A waiting list is also open for future vacancies in the building.

    Each unit has 10- to 12-foot ceilings, advanced energy-efficient kitchen appliances (including an in-unit dishwasher), hardwood floors, and smart controls for heating, cooling, and air conditioning.

    Building amenities include an elevator, communal laundry room, access to a pool, gym, spa, community center, business center, rooftop terrace, concierge, security guard, and recycling center. The building is also pet-friendly (breed restrictions apply) and has a dog washing station.

    Leases for this building began on October 1, 2023, with a 3% increase for a one-year lease or a two-year lease of 2.75% for the first year and a 3.20% increase for the second year. Those who are approved will be able to select the rental option.

    Applications for this lottery must be submitted online or postmarked by February 20, 2024. To apply, visit the list on the New York City Housing Connect website.
