The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch, meaning hazardous weather is possible in the North Bay from 8pm Sunday until 10pm Monday.
Heavy rain could lead to minor to moderate flooding with rapidly rising creeks and creeks and the risk of landslides in Napa, Sonoma and Marin counties, forecasters said Saturday afternoon.
One to two inches of rain is expected by early Monday in the North Bay Valleys, the weather service said.
Meteorologists said 2 to 3 inches were possible in the coastal mountains, and up to 4 inches across the highest peaks.
The rest of the Bay Area is expected to receive a half inch to an inch and a half, according to forecasters.
