Professor Halderman wrote about his findings in a blog post on Wednesday.

Our report explains how attackers could exploit the flaws we discovered to change votes or even influence election results in Georgia, including how they can overcome technical and procedural protections provided by the state. While we are not aware of any evidence that vulnerabilities were exploited to change votes in past elections, without further precautions and mitigations, there is a serious risk that they will be exploited in the future.
After the report was released, Professor Halderman tweeted that Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger would not install Dominion's security patches before the 2024 election.

On Friday, in federal court in Atlanta, J. Alex Halderman of Georgia hacked into the voting tabulator in front of US District Judge Amy Totenberg in the courtroom!
Halderman only used the pen to change the total votes!
This is part of a long-running lawsuit filed by election integrity activists as a bench trial.
The plaintiff seeks to remove what they say are unsecured voting machines in Georgia in favor of secure paper ballots.
