Former President Donald Trump did not mention the name of his running mate, but said that “people will not be surprised” by his choice.
Trump was asked when he would decide by Fox News' Bret Baier in New Hampshire.
“Well, it didn't have much impact on the election at all, which is amazing, either in the election or in the primary. It didn't have much impact at all,” the Republican front-runner responded.
“I may or may not do something in the next couple of months. There's no rush to it. It will have no effect at all. The person I think I love is a very good person, a beautiful level of people. It's a pretty good person,” Trump added, according to a report by The Hill. “I think people wouldn't be that surprised, but I would say there's probably a 25% chance it's that person.”
Beyer asked if Sen. Tim Scott was the nominee.
“You know, he is [Scott] He supported me. There is an example, Nikki [haley] He comes from South Carolina, and Tim Scott is from South Carolina. But if you look at the governor, the great governor, another Senator Lindsey [Graham]. “We love Lindsey,” Trump said. “but, [Gov.] Henry Mccaster [R] He knows it well. He supported me. “It's very difficult for a governor to endorse someone when you have… I mean, Henry McCaster was lieutenant governor under her and he endorsed me… What does that tell you?”
Trump said he had already made up his mind about his vice presidential nomination during a Fox News town hall meeting earlier this month.
“Well, I can't really tell you that. I mean, I know who it's going to be,” Trump said.
Trump says he has already chosen his running mate for 2024.

Trump also said he is receiving many calls from people eager to work in a second Trump administration.
“I have a lot of people who want to work with me,” Trump said. “I have people calling me — while I was on stage, I got a call from two of the most important people in the military wanting to work with me.”

Trump admitted that he had some people in his previous administration who were “not great” and “stiff.”
“Everyone wanted to come to work for us. We would have no problem. We had great people [in his first term]”We had a couple that weren't great, stiff, as I call them, but that's true with anyone,” Trump continued.
