Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has been rumored to be a potential running mate choice for former President Donald Trump — but she says she's not interested in leaving her current position.
Sanders was asked about the gossip on CBS News' “Face the Nation” on Sunday.
“Look, I absolutely love the job that I do. I think it's one of the best jobs I could ever ask for, and I'm honored to serve as governor, and I hope I can do that for the next seven years,” Sanders said.

Sanders has been a loyal supporter of Trump and previously served as his press secretary.
In November, she endorsed Trump's re-election.
Trump was asked when he would decide on his running mate by Fox News' Bret Baier in New Hampshire this weekend.
“Well, it didn't have much impact on the election at all, which is amazing, either in the election or in the primary. It didn't have much impact at all,” the Republican front-runner responded.
“I may or may not do something over the next couple of months. There's no rush to it. It won't have any effect at all. The person I think I like is a very good person, a pretty standard person. I think people won't be that surprised,” Trump added. “But I would say there's probably a 25% chance it's that person.”

Trump said he had already made up his mind about his vice presidential nomination during a Fox News town hall meeting earlier this month.
“Well, I can't really tell you that. I mean, I know who it's going to be,” Trump said.
Trump also said he is receiving many calls from people eager to work in a second Trump administration.
“I have a lot of people who want to work with me,” Trump said. “I have people calling me — while I was on stage, I got a call from two of the most important people in the military wanting to work with me.”
“Everyone wanted to come to work for us. We would have no problem. We had great people [in his first term]”We had a couple that weren't great, stiff, as I call them, but that's true with anyone,” Trump continued.
