After a cold 24 hours, a nice warm-up is upon us this weekend. Our official high temperature in Denver was 34 degrees at DIA on Friday afternoon.

For the first time in several days, there were no winter weather advisories for Colorado's higher elevations, and most mountains should expect no more snow on Saturday.

Warm air begins to slide into Colorado on Saturday, and Denver's high temperature is expected to reach around 40 degrees with partly cloudy skies.

Then on Sunday, it will be much warmer in the metro with highs in the lower 50s.

Another storm system will unleash more light to moderate snow showers at higher elevations on Sunday.

For Coloradans who are sick and tired of stretches of extreme wind chills, there is good news next week. A warmer weather pattern remains in place through most of the week with high temperatures in Denver and along the Front Range remaining in the 40s to low 50s.
