Luis Vasquez, the musician behind the Soft Moon project, has died at the age of 44. The news of Vasquez's death was confirmed in a statement on Soft Moon's social media accounts. “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend Luis Vasquez. Our hearts and thoughts are with his family, friends and extended musical family. “We ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time… This is a tremendous loss and our hearts are broken.” No cause of death was provided.
