Seth Rollins suffered a knee injury during his match against Jinder Mahal Monday Night Raw last week. It took a few days for the severity of the injury to be revealed, and while it wasn't catastrophic, it wasn't great either – he had a torn ACL and a partially torn meniscus.
It's difficult to say how much time he will need to recover, especially considering we don't know the severity of the injury, which can vary greatly. What we do know is when we'll find out what happens with the World Heavyweight Championship that Rollins still holds.
Indeed, this was announced during Friday Night SmackDown This is the week that Rollins will appear raw next week to “address his future as champion.” If it's going to sit on the shelf for a while, there's nothing that can mean.
The Wrestling Observer reported that the plan “as of this afternoon” was still for Rollins to face CM Punk for the title at a show. Wrestlemania 40. We'll see if that changes due to this unfortunate injury.
