Selena Gomez (31) took to her Instagram profile to express her happiness after landing the role she will be portraying in her upcoming biopic. She wrote in the post:
“I have no words to describe my heart for this project. Years of hope that this dream will become a reality for me.”
Gomez, who recently posed with her beau, expressed her love and admiration for the icon from her time as a Disney Channel star.
Ronstadt's manager, John Boylan and James Keach, will reportedly produce the untitled biopic, and David O. Russell will direct. The untitled autobiography was inspired by Ronstadt's memoir “Feels Like Home.” Previously, Gomez posted on her Instagram Stories a photo of herself reading Ronstadt's 2013 memoir.
