Welcome to The Prophecy Q&A with Jimmy DeYoung!
The kingdom begins when Jesus Christ returns. We are not now in the Kingdom period. Jesus Christ is not on his throne. God the Father is on the throne (Revelation 4, 5). And Jesus Christ is at his right hand (Hebrews 1, 8, 10, 12). The kingdom was given to Jesus (Daniel 7:13-14) when the Ancient of Days – God the Father – gave him authority and a kingdom that will last forever. This happens when Jesus returns after the seven-year tribulation period.
During that time, God's Word will be the primary source of all our teaching. Isaiah 2:3 or Micah 4:2 says that the word of the Lord will go forth from Jerusalem. We gather in Jerusalem to hear Jesus teach His Word. God's Word will be what we study on an almost daily basis. We will love God's Word. Psalm 119:11 says, “Your words I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” Psalm 119:89 says that His word is established. It is fixed or fixed forever in heaven. Matthew 24 talks about heaven and earth passing away, but My Word endures forever. 1 Peter 1:23 says that the Word of God will endure forever. 1 Peter 1:25 says that the Word of God endures forever.
God's Word is a book forever that we will study, love, and honor. Spend time understanding exactly what he is saying. When you study the scriptures, they become a part of you (Colossians 3:16). We will not have all the answers until we are transformed, when Jesus Christ calls us at the rapture of the church.
Jimmy DeYoung was a prophetic teacher and journalist who traveled the country and the world educating the body of Christ about future events foretold in God's prophetic Word. His goal was to provide Christians with knowledge and understanding of what God's Word says will happen one day soon, so they can make better decisions today. Dr. De Jong returned home to be with his Savior on August 15, 2021.
