Using leftist cancel culture standards, these liberal heroes deserve the axe

The progressive left has relentlessly attacked our historical heroes and culture, insisting that the flaws of pioneers and leaders lie primarily in how they are remembered and, better yet, using them as justification for completely erasing them from history. Columbus Day is now referred to as Indigenous Peoples' Day because under this system Christopher Columbus was little more than a genocidal colonizer of the “natives” as opposed to a bold and resilient explorer of distant lands.

George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were unsavory slave owners. Ignoring the fact that they both wrote extensively about their disgust at slavery and their desire to pave the way for our new nation to be a free nation for all, including slaves.

This week, liberal trolls online battled over arguments that, under the same standards set against these historical men, Martin Luther King Jr. should also be considered an adulterer and worse, versus the civil rights leader we all know. He is. Since they started it, I argue that we should continue this practice by providing four more prime examples of liberal historical leaders who should be abolished using leftist standards.

    #1 – Harvey's Milk

A famous former San Francisco city supervisor who was murdered for allegedly being an outspoken leader of the gay community has been immortalized in film. It has been suggested that a holiday be created in his name.

Why should a man who in the 1970s was able to win a minor political race in one of the most gay-concentrated areas and only pushed two measures as city supervisor, one of which deals with dog owners who pick up their pets? Puppy Doo Doo – Will it be cancelled? Not because he was gay; This was because he was a liar and also supported the leader of the killing sect.

During his campaign for city supervisor, Harvey Milk's camera store was attacked when momentum began to wane. At the time, Mr Milk claimed it was because of his homosexuality.

    Later, biographer Randy Shilts wrote:

“Years later, friends widely implied that Harvey had advance knowledge that the explosions would occur.”

Even worse, Harvey Milk wrote to then-President Jimmy Carter in defense of Jim Jones in the famous Kool-Aid murder-suicide:

“pastor. Jones is widely known in minority communities here and elsewhere as a man of high character, who made constructive remedies to social problems that were astonishing in their scope and effectiveness.

Not the best judge of character.

    #2 – Roosevelt

President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, or FDR, as he is commonly referred to, is heralded as the man who helped shape modern America. His policies and story of leadership through hardship are highlighted by a sprawling memorial in Washington, D.C., which takes you on a walking journey through the life accomplishments of the longest-serving commander in chief.

However, Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066 and established internment camps for Japanese Americans. This executive order allowed and incited the rounding up of Japanese immigrants and their descendants regardless of their citizenship as Americans.

RELATED: Cancel culture should apply equally to all historical figures regardless of race, including MLK Jr.

These people, many of them Americans, were only allowed to take what they could with them as they were taken from their homes, jobs, businesses and lives and placed in concentration camps. Where are his comparisons to Adolf Hitler and the Nazis?

Not on the anniversary of his passing, I can tell you that. However, that's okay; Let's tear everything down because this is the norm.

Many believe that Roosevelt is an American hero, but…

    • 4 terms as president

    • Efforts to expand the Supreme Court to advance the New Deal agenda

    • Confiscating all gold in the possession of the Americans

    • 120,000 Japanese Americans were detained in concentration camps

    • An affair with his wife’s secretary, &

    •…

    #3- Bill Clinton

If we've learned anything from the left, thanks to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's public persecution, it's that if you're a man and you're accused of sexual assault or rape, no evidence is needed to find you guilty. . As we heard often during Kavanaugh's confirmation, he deserves, at the very least, an asterisk next to his name in the history books.

And so I offer you the next obvious sacrifice to change the #MeToo movement, President Bill Clinton. Besides the grotesque sexual activity that occurred with his trainee Monica Lewinsky, which, although he approved of it, was by all accounts sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior with one of his subordinates, there is an insurmountable list of reasons why Bill Clinton deserves an asterisk.

We can't forget Paula Jones, who claimed that Bill Clinton exposed himself to her while he was governor, and Kathleen Willey, who said he fondled her breasts and forced her to put her hand on his genitals in the Oval Office. But the cherry on top of Bill Clinton's sexual perversion is Juanita Broaddrick.

RELATED: Joey Reid's racist rant on MLK Day – White Christians 'overrepresented' in Iowa

Juanita Broaddrick claimed that Bill Clinton raped her during his campaign for governor. In fact, her allegation was stronger than the one against Judge Kavanaugh, with multiple witnesses coming forward to corroborate the timing of her story and claiming that it was so strong that she had swollen and bruised lips.

They say we should always believe the victim regardless of the evidence, so it's time to send Billy Boy to jail and throw away the key.

    #4- Barack Obama

Barack Obama, a Nobel Prize winner and the first black president, is a liberal guru of political possibility. It's easy to sell President Barack Obama not only as an impeccable leader, but perhaps as the coolest president since JFK – I mean, he plays basketball and occasionally smokes a joint in the White House – how cool is that?!

Unfortunately, he is a war criminal who directly enabled the massacre of hundreds of civilians in the Middle East. During his term, President Obama approved more than 550 drone strikes that killed more than 3,500 people.

Barack Obama assassinated an American teenager with a Predator drone, overthrew the democratically elected Ukrainian government, ignited wars in Libya, Syria and Yemen, and awarded him the Nobel Peace Prize.

One of the first CIA drone strikes he signed was at a funeral that killed 41 Pakistani civilians. The following year after that drone strike, he approved more than 125 CIA-led drone attacks that killed 89 civilians.

Its drone strikes also moved into countries where we were not actively involved in conflicts, including Yemen. One horrific drone strike in Yemen killed 55 people, including 21 children, 10 of whom were under the age of five.

In addition, 12 of the Yemeni civilians killed were women, including five who were pregnant. It's time to ship him to Guantanamo Bay; I heard it's still open – thanks so much, Obama!

It's time to support and share the sources you trust.
