A group of 17 retired military officials have warned that Joe Biden's aggressive pursuit of electric vehicles puts US national security at risk.
One of their main concerns is that electric cars increase America's dependence on China, but there are other potential problems as well.
Biden and the Democrats have been actively working to destroy the fossil fuel industry from the moment Biden took office. They are beholden to climate change activists from their party's base who are completely obsessed with the issue.

A group of 17 retired military officials sent a letter to President Joe Biden on Thursday, warning him that his plan for electric vehicles puts US national security at risk.
The group warned Biden and the EPA that the administration's current plan would make the United States more dependent on China because it would push the United States to make changes to the transportation industry before the infrastructure needed to support it is ready.
“More troubling is the fact that this reliance relies on the good faith of China to export those minerals and manufactured goods to the United States,” the letter obtained by Fox News said.
“This would undoubtedly open the United States to economic manipulation by China, similar to what Russia is doing with Ukrainian grain exports, and poses a significant threat to our national security. We do not believe that now is the time to make ourselves vulnerable to such easy political pressure.”
Trump has recently addressed the issue as well.

Once again, all of this is being done to appease far-left climate change activists. Their fears should not matter when it comes to national security.
