First Lady Jill Biden spoke to teachers and students at a high school in Utah on Tuesday, but the visit came with some unfortunate scenes that whoever organized the event apparently didn't take into account beforehand.
President Joe Biden's wife visited a school in West Valley City, a suburb of Salt Lake City.
The school chosen was Hunter High School.

Given that the First Lady's eldest son, Hunter Biden, has become synonymous with millions of Americans who use drugs, a photo of her speaking behind a podium with the phrase “Hunter High” went viral on the social media platform X:

As someone who has done a lot of “advanced” work in politics, I'm really curious to know who screwed up and approved this platform tag @flutes. Either that or they're trolling us. pic.twitter.com/UptR5qiigq

Biden, a community college teacher, did not mention this paradox during her statements at the school.
Instead, she opposed her husband's re-election campaign.
“President Biden has kept his promises to you: from addressing the mental health and academic needs of our students, to passing a gun safety law with bipartisan support, and exempting public employees, including teachers,” the first lady said, according to the New York Times. “. The official White House transcript of her remarks.
“We are all here because we heard the same call — and we answered it,” she said, speaking directly to Hunter High School teachers. “We answer it because we are learners—collecting all the wisdom, art, and insight that humanity has to offer.
Hunter Biden admitted that he struggled with a cocaine addiction just a few years ago.
He faces three felony firearms charges after he lied about his addiction to illegal drugs when he purchased a .38-caliber handgun in 2018, according to prosecutors.
Last week, the president's son made a surprise visit to the US Capitol while House Republicans were considering holding him in contempt of Congress. He abruptly left the hearing once Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia started lying to him.
In the hallway outside, Hunter Biden was greeted by a group of reporters.
One of the men repeatedly asked him about his cocaine use.
