LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) has decided to offer non-traditional instruction (NTI) for Friday amid severe winter weather in Louisville.

On Thursday, JCPS decided to end all after-school events by 6 p.m. due to the possibility of snow. Students originally returned to in-person classes Thursday after two days of NTI due to winter weather.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Jefferson County starting at noon Thursday until 7 p.m. Friday. There is a possibility of a wintry mix of snow and some freezing rain. This could cause slippery road conditions Friday morning.
