SHREVEPORT, La. – Temperatures are expected to rise significantly Thursday via ArkLaTex. The KTBS MEGA 3 Storm Team and National Weather Service-Shreveport have afternoon highs ranging from 50 north to low 60 south.
This latest outbreak in the Arctic across much of the country has given us temperatures below freezing for several days and nights. The chart below from the NWS shows some select cities and how long each will stay below 32 degrees.
Road conditions continue to improve throughout the area, but there are still some icy areas, so you will need to drive carefully.
The list of closures and delays across ArkLaTex is dwindling, but still includes some roads, schools, businesses and government offices. Click here to take a look at the list, which is updated 24/7.
