Victor reacts: Washington Post article says you're not smart enough to do your own research? (Video) | Critic portal

A recent Washington Post article by Philip Bump seems to tell readers that they simply aren't smart enough to do their own research.

Titled “Doing your own research is a good way to end up wrong“The article goes out of its way to make it clear that if you or I tried to do our own research instead of blindly trusting the official media narrative, we would arrive at the wrong conclusion.

The promotional piece specifically references Gateway Pundit, saying,

“Sites like Gateway Pundit generally look like news sites. “Gateway Pundit, despite its history of spreading nonsense, is often treated as legitimate by high-profile people — so its claims are treated as credible.”

Funnily enough, the article points out that when people have the nerve to do their own research, they are more likely to believe stories that the media has declared “fake news.” It turns out that once people do their research, they realize how often the media lies to them.

Phillip took particular issue with the fact that many Iowa caucus participants knew the 2020 election was rife with fraud and believed Joe Biden did not win legitimately.

Surely we would be better off if we simply allowed the brilliant pundits in the mainstream media to vomit their ideas on us. We are not capable enough to do our own research, but instead have to regurgitate the official narrative of the old media.

Blindly trusting those in power never caused anything bad to happen, right?
