Judge Judy Sheindlin spoke out this week to criticize Joe Biden as she endorses Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley heading into the presidential election this year.
Sheindlin rips Biden
Referring to Biden in a Daily Mail op-ed, Sheindlin wrote: “I have never seen greatness or anything close to it in his entire 53-year political career.”
“Just think about the past three years,” she continued. “It has actively encouraged illegal immigration – leaving states, cities and towns in disarray and on the brink of financial disaster. We need strong national leadership to end this nightmare.”
At home, Americans struggle with hyperinflation, a housing crisis, and a palpable fear that our best days as a nation are behind them. “Abroad, we are embroiled in horrific military conflicts that we could and should have prevented,” Scheindlin added. “Do you really think Biden has the focus and drive to solve any of these problems? He created them in the first place!

Sheindlin criticizes Trump
While Sheindlin was quick to criticize Biden, she also made it clear that she is not a fan of Donald Trump, who is currently the front-runner to secure the Republican Party's presidential nomination.
“Trump was elected as a president with no political experience,” Sheindlin said. “While no one should deny his acumen as a businessman, he is not a leader.”
She continued: “The leader unites people, instead of dividing them.” “A leader protects the nation from chaos, rather than creates it. A leader demonstrates moral authority and sets moral standards for our children and grandchildren. Donald Trump is doing none of what America needs at this critical moment.
That's why Sheindlin, who previously endorsed Democrat Michael Bloomberg during the 2020 presidential race, is throwing her support behind Haley.
“We need new leadership, new ideas, and a renewed commitment to the idea that there is much more that unites us as Americans than divides us. So I urge you to join me in supporting Nikki Haley,” she wrote. “It is easy to imagine her in the White House, making a difference and bringing back… Consolidating American power.”
She added: “She has brilliant and profound leadership on the international stage and is respected by friends and enemies alike.”
Sheindlin also had some choice words for Democrats who may not feel comfortable voting for a Republican like Healey.
“If you're a Democrat and you've never voted for a non-Democrat, get over it. “This is no reason to bring the humble drive back to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue for another four years,” she wrote. It is time for all of us to think like Americans. Not like Republicans or Democrats. “It is time to elect a candidate capable of healing our national wounds.”

Sheindlin endorses Haley
Sheindlin formally endorsed Haley earlier this month.
“I am proud to endorse Nikki Haley because she is smart, has executive qualifications, and has been a great governor,” Sheindlin said in a statement issued by Haley’s campaign, according to Fox News.
She continued: “She has international weight as an ambassador to the United Nations.” “She is principled, thoughtful and has that elusive quality of real common sense. I truly believe she can take back America and I believe she is the future of this great nation.”
Haley responded to the endorsement by saying: “Judge Judy is a no-nonsense woman who has earned the respect of millions of Americans in her courtroom by being thoughtful, fair and honest. I am honored to have her support.”
