    — The Nation's Justice reporter Elie Mistal reports on today's oral argument in Luber Brite Enterprises v. Raymundo. The court is looking into Chevron It is a principle that has formed the backbone of administrative law for the past forty years. Based on the sentiment in this debate, the right-wing majority in SCOTUS appears poised to abolish this doctrine, which would throw every administrative agency into disarray. As Justice Ketanji Brown-Jackson noted in the argument, overturning the decision would be “impractical and messy.” Chevron Respect, and yet, here we are.
