Talk of Donald Trump possibly selecting Vivek Ramaswamy as his running mate has been on the rise after he appeared at a rally in which the current GOP front-runner said “he's going to work with us for a long time.”

Ramaswamy appeared alongside Trump at a speech in New Hampshire on Tuesday, and was immediately attacked by chants of “Vice President!” vice president! vice president!

After delivering a speech in which he announced that Trump would “revive” the nation, Ramaswamy received rousing cheers from the crowd in attendance.

“Very well, isn't it?” Trump said of the speech. “He's a great guy, he really has something very special.”

“He's going to work with us, and he's going to work with us for a long time,” Trump added, drawing more cheers.

Ramaswamy Post the video To his account, X, commented: “America first. One move. “Indivisible.”

    Ramaswamy for Vice President?

Ramaswamy, prior to his appearance at a New Hampshire campaign speech, had consistently downplayed any chance of him becoming a vice presidential nominee, or even a member of Trump's cabinet for that matter.

He said earlier: “I will help this country in any way I can, but I will not be second-in-command or a member of the administration.” “I don't think this is the right way for me to have the maximum positive impact on this country.”

Trump praised Vivek Ramaswamy throughout the campaign despite a social media post calling for him to exit the race before the Iowa caucus.

“You have to love a guy like that,” the former president told The Hill.

“He's a smart guy. He's young. He's got a lot of talent. He's a very, very, very smart guy,” Trump said. “He has good energy, and he can be in shape of something. I'm telling you, I think it's going to be pretty good.

This is going to be an epic time in our country. I couldn't think of better people to lead the way.

Ramaswamy ran as a staunch defender of Trump

Ramaswamy was an ardent defender of Trump throughout his campaign, ferociously going after his Republican opponents for not supporting the former president.

He outmaneuvered and embarrassed his opponents during a debate in which the candidates were asked whether they would commit to supporting Donald Trump as a nominee even if he were convicted of any of the numerous politically motivated criminal charges he currently faces.

Ramaswamy's hand was the first to be raised immediately, while Florida Governor Ron DeSantis hesitated greatly and did not raise his hand until the other participants watched.

Ramaswamy was also the first Republican candidate for president to fully commit to pardoning Trump should the current charges against him turn into convictions. He even called on his GOP opponents to sign a pledge that they would right the wrong of the politicized Justice Department by pardoning Trump.

In another GOP debate, Ramaswamy openly questioned why he was the only candidate who seemed in tune with reality.

“Why am I the only person at this point, at least, who can say that January 6th now feels like an inside job?” Asked.

“That the government lied to us for 20 years about Saudi Arabia’s involvement in 9/11? That the Great Replacement theory is not a major right-wing conspiracy theory, but a basic statement of the Democratic Party’s platform?” he added. “Was the 2020 election really stolen by Big Tech?” “

Ramaswamy announced the suspension of his presidential bid on Tuesday after Trump's caucus win in Iowa.

His appearance at the New Hampshire rally will only fuel speculation that he will join the former president's campaign in some capacity, if not his administration.
