No Windows – the Edinburgh duo made up of multi-instrumentalist Morgan Morris and singer Verity Slangen – have announced their signing to Fat Possum with a new single titled 'Song 01'. It will appear on the next one Point Nemo The EP, which will be released on May 3, was recorded with producer Ali Shant at his studio in Bristol. Check out “Song 01” below.
Point Nemo The duo's debut EP, 2020, will follow Fish boy. “Fish boy “It was our first experience putting together a body of work,” Morris explained. “With a point Nemo We have gained a lot of confidence and knowledge. I think we've improved a lot of the basics as well: song structure and stronger melodies.
“Before, I would record the entire score before Verity heard it,” Morris added. “We convinced ourselves that this was the only way we could write songs. Then we wrote together and it was much better: the way the song moves musically tends to fit with the lyrical themes, which is really cool and something we never planned. It's a big change in how songs sound.
