The New York Times recently interviewed a left-wing climate activist named Andreas Malm, who publicly supported the idea of blowing up pipelines and acknowledged the possibility of casualties.
Trump supporters are in jail simply for wandering the Capitol, but leftists can openly call for crime and violence in furtherance of their political goals and no one says anything.
Don't pretend we have a two-tier justice system.

Extremist climate activist backs pipeline bombing in stunning interview, admitting they could kill people
“Accidents” and deaths may be inevitable in extreme climate activism that could be worth blowing up thousands of pipelines, author and radical climate activist Andreas Malm said in a startling new interview.
The How to Blow Up a Pipeline author and activist was interviewed by The New York Times about his upcoming follow-up book, Overrun: How the World Succumbed to Climate Collapse. At the trading summit, Malm was asked how “hard it is to believe that deaths do not become inevitable if there are more acts of sabotage” such as pipeline bombings.
“Sure, if you had a thousand pipeline explosions a year, if it took that extreme scale. But we're far from that unfortunately,” Malm replied.
When pressed for this response, Malm said: “Well, I want sabotage to happen on a much larger scale than it does now. I can't guarantee that it won't come with accidents. But what do I know? I personally haven't blown up a pipeline, and I can't Predicting the future.
Malm admitted that he had recently participated in “illegal” and “extremist” activities. Interviewer David Marchese then took issue with his condoning of political violence in a democracy.
The left has become so accustomed to getting away with this behavior that they feel completely comfortable talking about it openly.

The good thing for him is that he's not a Trump supporter or the FBI might notice him.
