The east and south will feel the effects of the massive storm this weekend
From New England to Texas, a powerful storm will bring all kinds of dangerous weather to the eastern United States this weekend. Rain and snow will be the most widely seen effect. Dangerous wind gusts are possible along parts of the northeast coast, while the south faces the risk of severe storms.
The Northwest is bracing for a new atmospheric storm
Heavy rain and snow return to the Pacific Northwest this weekend as another weather river storm reaches the region. Up to 5 inches of rain is expected along the coasts of Washington, Oregon and northern California. Meanwhile, up to a foot of snow could fall at the highest elevations.
