Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly on Monday criticized Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley for refusing to say whether a man can become a woman.
Kelly shuts down Hailey
During Monday's episode of her eponymous SiriusXM talk show, Kelly played a clip in which Halle was asked, “Can a man be a woman?” During a town hall in Iowa on Sunday.
“A lot has been talked about when it comes to all these roles and all these issues,” Hailey replied. “I strongly believe that we should not allow any sex reassignment surgeries to be performed on anyone before the age of 18.”
“We, the kids now, can't get tattoos until we're 18,” she continued. “We shouldn't be making them permanently change their bodies until they're 18. That includes puberty blockers. That includes any type of hormone that would do that. After 18, we want to make sure people can live the way they want.”
But Kelly was having none of it.
“This is an evasion,” Kelly said in response to Haley's comments. “The answer is no.”
Kelly's guest, Dave Rubin, agreed, noting that sex reassignment surgeries do not change the patient's sex.
“If you cut off a wang live while we're doing this live, that doesn't make me a woman, and if you cut some tissue off your arm and give yourself one, that doesn't make you a man,” Rubin said. . “I'm sorry, I know it's a little early in the day. I've been under a lot of pressure about this caucus thing, but you get the point.”
Kelly couldn't help but laugh at this.
“Oh my God, this is like an X-rated show. Wang and the caucuses,” she said.

Kelly previously spoke to The Washington Examiner about the transgender issue, saying that it is children who are “paying the price” with a rise in the number of young people who identify as transgender and undergo medical procedures such as hormone replacement therapy at an early age.
“This problem has exploded from a very small mental health problem into something that represents a serious social justice contagion that leads to infertility,” Kelly said, going on to detail the “voluntary removal of healthy body parts.” [and] “Removal of custody from well-meaning parents who love their children” is a result of this social movement.
“I really see this as the women's rights issue of our time,” she said.
Kelly revealed in June last year that although she was protective of trans people, she would no longer use “preferred pronouns” because of how out of control the movement had become.

Haley's votes are off On the transgender issue
Last month, Haley said she would “always fight” against biological boys playing girls' sports.
“They can find a place for transgender kids to play sports, but biological boys shouldn't be playing in girls' sports,” Haley said, according to The Advocate. “My daughter ran in high school. I don't know how I'm going to have that conversation with her. How do we tell our girls that it's okay to have a biological boy in the locker room? It's not. In any scenario.”
“You have women who have worked hard their whole lives to get to the points in high school and college where they want to be, and to have a biological man, who is different physiologically and athletically, go and take that away from these women,” she continued. “No, we're not going to erase women like that.” You can't do that. . You can find other ways to deal with this, but it doesn't have to be on our girls, who we're trying to make strong. “This is the wrong thing to do, and I will always fight that.”
