LG Innotek demonstrated its leadership as a leader in future mobility at this year's technology trade show CES, showcasing technologies used in electric vehicles (EVs) and autonomous vehicles, such as sensing, networking and lighting technologies, LG Innotek said on Monday.

The company said that more than 60,000 visitors stopped at its pavilion during the exhibition period at the largest technology exhibition in the world, which was held in Las Vegas last week. This triples compared to the 2023 event, when the company first participated.

The company said visitors' attention focused on a mock-up of a self-driving vehicle set up at the LG Innotek booth.

“We focused on displaying a mock-up that is close to reality so that visitors can understand LG Innotek technology more easily,” said Jun Min, vice president of the company.

LG Innotek, the global leader in the camera module market, also captured visitors' attention with its products that applied its strengths to the automotive space, such as the Sensor Pod, which contains self-driving cameras, radar, LiDAR, and sensors bundled into a single unit, the company said.

In addition to camera modules and sensor technology, LG Innotek has also introduced autonomous driving communications modules such as LTE/5G-V2X and unveiled Nexlide, a lighting system for autonomous vehicles.

The company also operated a special pavilion and held meetings with automakers. “We operated a double private booth and held 50 percent more customer meetings than last year,” the company said.

“Through this CES, LG Innotek has accelerated its lead generation by promoting highly scalable core technologies while strengthening its position as a leader in future mobility parts,” said LG Innotek CEO Moon Hyuk-soo. “We will establish ourselves as a technology innovation company that makes customers winners by creating differentiated customer value.”
