A bride was arrested for alleged blackmail on her wedding day in Mexico and was photographed handcuffed in her big white dress and surrounded by police.
The woman, identified only as Nancy N. by prosecutors, couldn't even enter the church when officers ambushed the celebration.
Local media reports said she was arrested as she got out of her car to enter the church in Villa Guerrero.
Her future husband, named Clemente N – nicknamed “El Raton”, meaning the Mouse – was wanted on the same charges but managed to escape.
The couple – and others – are accused of extorting chicken dealers in nearby Toluca Mexico Authorities said the city was suspected of kidnapping four workers from a poultry shop.

The Public Prosecutor's Office posted photos of suspects arrested during the operation in December on social media – including the bride in her wedding dress, handcuffed, surrounded by officers.
Authorities said the group had ties to the La Familia Michoacana drug gang.
Police investigations are continuing.
