Illinois Governor JB Pritzker recently begged Texas Governor Greg Abbott for “mercy” amid a wave of illegal immigrants being transferred to the sanctuary state of Illinois.
But he was not begging for mercy for his countrymen. He was pleading on behalf of illegal immigrants, whom he feared were too cold.
Pritzker would likely prefer Abbott to send illegal immigrants to a tropical destination with warm weather and a beach. He may want to send them to Key West, Florida, a top vacation destination, which is expected to see highs in the 70s and lows in the 60s next week.
But unlike Illinois, Florida is not a sanctuary state that welcomes illegal immigrants with open arms, and neither is Texas.
Recall that last October, Pritzker diverted rental assistance funds intended for American citizens to house illegal border crossers. He cares more about the so-called refugees invading our country than his own citizens!
His next step appears to be to ask residents to open their homes to these potentially dangerous illegal immigrants, most of whom are single males of military age, not children and families, as Pritzker claims in a letter to Abbott. The Gateway Pundit recently reported that Massachusetts Governor Maura Haley declared a state of emergency and asked its citizens to lend extra space in their homes to dangerous illegal immigrants.

Gov. JB Pritzker on Friday sent Texas Gov. Greg Abbott a comprehensive letter about the ongoing migrant crisis, urging him to halt landings during a dangerous winter storm.
“While action remains pending at the federal level, I implore you to have mercy for the thousands of people who cannot speak for themselves,” Pritzker said in the letter. “Please, while winter threatens the lives of vulnerable people, suspend your transportation and do not send any more people to our state.”
Pritzker wrote that sending migrants to Chicago this weekend — where temperatures are expected to reach dangerously low temperatures after several inches of snowfall — will likely cost lives. Wind temperatures are expected to drop to 17 degrees below zero on Saturday night.
“Your cruelty, sending buses and planes full of migrants in this weather, now threatens the lives of every single one of the arrivals,” Pritzker wrote. “The health and survival of hundreds of children and families is at risk because of your actions.”
But it's not just Illinois and Massachusetts that are seeing the effects of open borders for Democrats. As The Gateway Pundit reported, tens of thousands of illegal aliens have flooded New York City, a proud sanctuary city, and were recently photographed lining up for free (taxpayer-funded) housing in New York City.
After recently imposing new restrictions on buses transporting illegal immigrants to New York City to better handle the influx of migrants invited by Joe Biden, Mayor Eric Adams is now suing the bus companies to transport them there.
The Democratic mayor of Edison, New Jersey, Sam Goshee, recently went public with his complaints, citing security and health risks, and added: “We don't want them in Edison, period. That's the point.”
It is not Greg Abbott's fault that he allowed these illegal immigrants into our country and transported them to East Coast cities. The Biden regime is already doing this with millions of illegal immigrants facing the border. The Biden regime is even suing Texas to prevent the state from securing its southern border with razor wire and from deporting illegal aliens.
Abbott is doing everything he can to protect his state, and Democrats in sanctuary states and cities have always boasted that they would accept illegal immigrants. In fact, Pritzker signed legislation that “expands protections for immigrant and refugee communities Further cementing Illinois as the most welcoming state in the country,This makes the country a magnet for illegal immigration.

Abbott simply gave Pritzker what he asked for consideration in 2021, and Pritzker signed a bill making Illinois “the most welcoming state in the country” for illegal immigrants.
