An Illinois couple, Judy and Ken Zitko, formed a group of concerned citizens who analyzed the Illinois voter database. They found serious irregularities detailed in a formal complaint filed with Bernadette Matthews, director of the Illinois State Board of Elections, on Dec. 21.street.
Here are some of their findings after nearly 2,000 hours of analysis…
- There were more than 300,000 votes from the 2020 election missing or deleted from Illinois voter data before the 22-month federal retention period expired.
- Over four years, Illinois' population decreased by 150,000 people, while the number of voters increased by 650,000 people.
- More than 2.5 million people cast their votes before their registration dates.
- More than 230,000 registrations show that registration dates appear to be illegal or illogical.
- There are over 4 million apparent registration violations out of 8.9 million registrations.
This couple is not your average pair of election investigators. Ken has been an MSSQL Data Analyst, DBA, and Architect for 28 years, working with Fortune 500 companies, and Jodie has been working with People Data and Analytics since the mid-1990s in large enterprise environments. She is a “subject matter expert” in integrated workplace management systems.
They were able to show a copy of the voter register to the Illinois State Board of Elections while working with a U.S. Senate candidate. The couple also conducted an informal study of the history of voting in Illinois, which began when they decided to check their own records. They were shocked to discover that their history showed votes cast in three midterm elections when they held it He has never voted in the midterm elections. Kaine did vote in the 2008 presidential election, but there was no sign of the vote.
From April through June 2022, they were able to meet and sit down with more than 1,300 Illinoisans across the state and — with their consent — review their voting history over 20 years. They revealed more than 57% of the violations, including:
- Votes cast when a voter did not vote
- Missing votes when they voted
- Voters were registered and voted at addresses where they did not live
- Registrations with illogical registration dates
And most shocking of all, 11% of voters they Those interviewed had their votes cast in their names in elections in which they did not participate.
Judy explained how voters reacted to seeing obvious errors in their personal voting data. “It was a rather emotionally exhausting experience. As reality set in, a number of people visibly trembled, and a few shed a tear or two. I remember one particular young man in his early thirties. When we asked him if he wanted his own history report, he insisted However, he didn't need to see it because he knew his history. After watching several other people receive their reports with horrific results, he finally asked to see it. In his case, he had a missing voice for 2020, and he was so angry that he turned beet red. He stood there for 30 minutes Almost, and he shook his head over and over again in disbelief. I think he had an explanation or two.
In July of 2022, they found out New York natives review – A similar group of citizens concerned with examining voter lists. They reached out to NYCA CEO Marley Hornick and her data team. In late spring 2023, they joined the New York organization and spent an additional 2,500 hours searching for Illinois data. Since then, Hornick has formed a national group, United Sovereign AmericansIt works with more than 25 other states on the validity of elections.
The Illinois team has been making presentations of its data to town and county boards of elections across the state, asking elected officials to sign off on their decision. They also plan to file a federal lawsuit. The Illinois Chapter of United Sovereign Americans is looking for volunteers in every county in the state who are interested partner In determining our elections.

The video below shows one voter, who says she has never voted in midterms or primaries, in complete shock to learn that ballots had been cast in her name for years:
The first election I voted in was Trump. I've never voted in a midterm election, ever. I've never voted in a primary, ever… The first time I got involved in politics was President Trump. This is my first presidential election. I have never voted in the midterm elections. I never voted in another presidential election. This is all a lie. I'm very annoyed.
Additionally, a report from United Sovereign American claims that 27,491 more votes were counted in the database than were cast in the 2022 Illinois general election, and the records have a 38% error rate in voter registration totals and a 14% error rate in voter registration totals. Votes. It far exceeds the legal error standard of .0008%.
“The measured error rate of Illinois’ electoral process, from registration to certification, makes it impossible to legally certify any election in Illinois,” the report states.
